When you google the Independent Whisky Association, the only information that pops up about the company is the FaceBook page.
The FaceBook Page indicates that the company is out of Louisville,KY and was founded in 2003. No other information such as contact name or company address can be found.
After you “like” the page on FaceBook, it takes you to this page to fill out your information:
It informs you that the entire form must be filled out or your order will not be processed.
After you fill out the form and “share” the offer, you are redirected to another page with this web address:

We researched the reputation of the website listed and this is what we found:
According to other users, this may be a fraudulent site attempting to obtain money or something else of value.
The was another offer for the whisky flask offered in September of 2013 with pictures stolen from other web sites and the Author Danielle Steele.
Conclusion:
We strongly advise that you steer clear of this one. Nothing free will be sent from them. Nothing has ever come since this scam was first published in the fall of 2013.
