The Claim:
Allegedly, this place wants to send you a free sample of their jam.
Findings (What makes it fake?)
- While there’s no Spam popup after submit (an unrelated offer pops up and wants you to fill it out. The scammers get PAID when you do! They’re tricking you into making them money), there are a TON of very obviously out of place ads on the page. That’s their motivation. They’re getting paid when you click their ads.
- Speaking of Google Ads, it’s the same ad code (same advertiser) as other fake freebie sites use! It’s a Russian owned fake freebie site, along with several others (such as freesamplesmail . com) and InTur freebies scam we uncovered – to name a few
- There are more fakes from this page, like the fake free Appleseed Farms Royal Cracker Sandwich
- Product image appears to be photoshopped
- No company info and phone number is disconnected
Conclusion:
